Who Are We ?
The Institution of surveyors of Tanzania (IST) is a national non−governmental professional organization registered in Tanzania; basically, endeavoring to promote the practices of surveying and mapping, ensurin g that the relevant disciplines and all who practice them meet the needs and aspirations of the individuals, communities, public and private industries that they serve.
Vission
IST is envisaged to be a role model in addressing the interest and liberties of its members as influenced by the government administrative and regulatory systems as well as in enhancing the work relationship with the public, private and civil society sectors
Mission
IST aims at fostering compliance with an exemplary code of conduct for the profession of land surveying so as to promote credible performance in its practice
